Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Specialist who thrives in an individual contributor role, handling everything from strategy to execution with precision and expertise.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle benefits administration – from new hire enrollments to terminations and everything in between.
- Handle invoice reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Own broker relationships, working closely with external partners to optimize benefit offerings.
- Lead program implementations, guiding initiatives from concept to execution while ensuring value-add for employees and the organization.
- Conduct audits and validations, with a strong focus on 401(k) compliance, ensuring proper tracking of gains and losses.
- Provide expert-level support in Excel, leveraging data analytics for reporting and strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits inquiries, education, and problem resolution.
What You Bring:
- Deep expertise in benefits administration with a proven track record of handling programs from start to finish.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling, etc.).
- Experience managing 401(k) plans, including compliance audits and financial reconciliations.
- A history of successfully implementing new benefit programs, from initial concept to rollout and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently, making informed decisions while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with brokers and vendors.
- Must reside in North Houston, TX, with the ability to work on-site as needed.
