Employment Information:
- Location: 160 Cresswood Drive, Clearfield, PA 16830
Position Overview:
As a Diesel Technician, you’ll perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs across all truck systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Diesel Technicians of all experience levels
- Day, afternoon, and evening shifts available
Requirements & Preferences:
- High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting company insurability standards.
- Vocational technical school training or equivalent experience preferred.
- Automotive or medium/heavy-duty truck experience a plus.
Essential Duties:
- Perform minor repairs without supervision and assist with major repairs as needed.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per supervisor guidance.
- Communicate with the parts department to secure necessary parts.
- Keep accurate records of all work and recommended repairs.
- Save and tag parts as necessary (especially for warranty claims).
- Road test vehicles when required or refer to a test technician.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Work efficiently and maintain a team-focused environment.
