Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled General Manager to oversee and coordinate the operations of our full-service dealership, including the parts, service, and sales departments. As the General Manager, you will manage dealership operations for our Lancaster location. This includes directing dealership activities, managing personnel functions, leading key projects, and ensuring that business strategies align with our company’s goals. What You’ll Do:
- Leadership & Management: Direct and coordinate the dealership’s day-to-day operations by supervising department managers and overseeing personnel functions across all departments.
- Strategic Planning: Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, develop and implement strategic business plans related to sales, financial performance, and product development.
- Project Oversight: Oversee key dealership projects, processes, and performance metrics. Ensure that dealership goals are met and progress is tracked.
- Financial Responsibility: Conduct market analysis, develop merchandising strategies, and manage the dealership’s financial health while maintaining cost-efficiency.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints and ensure the highest level of customer service is provided across all departments.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and reinforce safety policies. Conduct training sessions and regular inspections as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Measure performance against company goals and implement strategies to improve quality, cost, employee relations, and delivery.
- Team Development: Lead manager meetings, foster collaboration, and promote a positive work environment that drives problem-solving and operational improvements.

Who We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited university preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in dealership operations and management.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to plan and execute strategic goals over a 3-6 month time span.
Certifications & Licenses:
- State Sales License required.
- Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards.
Residential Requirements: Must live or be willing to relocate within 30 miles or a 45-minute commute to the dealership location.
