Position: New Truck Salesperson

What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university is preferred, or four years of related experience and/or training required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are a must.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Class B preferred; must obtain within 6 months).
- Valid NY state sales license preferred (must obtain within 6 months).
Key Responsibilities:
As a New Truck Salesperson, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in your assigned area of responsibility (AOR). Your responsibilities include:
Customer Relationship Building:
- Actively visit 40 customers per month, building strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by listening and learning about customers’ operations and needs.
- Present customized proposals and professional presentations tailored to each customer.
Product Knowledge & Sales:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in truck technology, product features, and inventory.
- Ensure all sales orders are completed accurately and in line with dealership policies.
- Help customers understand the operating features of trucks, including warranties and paperwork during delivery.
Post-Sales Support:
- Follow up on post-delivery items, including title work, "we-owes", and special requests, ensuring customers’ needs are fully met.
- Work closely with the parts and service departments to maintain relationships and promote the quality of service repairs.
Professionalism:
- Ensure trucks are clean, fueled, and operational prior to delivery.
- Maintain a professional business appearance at all times.
- Make sales calls with reliable transportation.
