We are currently seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team at Hunter Truck Pennsville. Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm
- Location: 454 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal Parts Counterperson will be a friendly, professional, and service-oriented individual who enjoys helping customers and working in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you'll provide customers with the parts they need for their trucks, answer inquiries, and support the shop in keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting parts in a friendly and efficient manner
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and offer product information
- Pull and fill orders from stock and notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items
- Handle special orders and follow up on back-ordered parts
- Process retail payments and ensure customers receive accurate invoices
- Maintain clean and organized work areas at the counter
- Work closely with service advisors to ensure accurate parts billing
- Stay current on new products and product updates through training programs
- Maintain a professional appearance and promote a safe work environment
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One-year certificate from college or technical school (preferred)
- 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards
- ASE Certification or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification (preferred)
