Hunter Truck is hiring! We are currently looking for a motivated and committed team member to join our Clarksburg, NJ location as a Parts Delivery Driver.

SUMMARY:
The Parts Delivery Driver will deliver and/or pick-up parts to and from other Hunter locations, shops, customers, and vendors. We will provide a company vehicle is used for daily route travels.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
- Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (preferred but not required): must meet company insurability standards
- Must be able to drive across county and state lines
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, vendors and other Hunter branches.
- Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Before leaving on your route, work with the Shipping/Receiving person to check your delivery vehicle to verify part numbers and quantities match the customer invoice.
- Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Obtain recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
- Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
