Position Overview
Position: Full-time Parts Delivery Driver
Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: Buffalo, NY
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the parts they need, when they need them. With a company vehicle provided, you'll deliver and pick up parts from our locations, shops, customers, and vendors—driving across county and state lines as required.
What You'll Do:
- Drive: Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and materials to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Coordinate: Communicate with parts managers and other team members to make sure deliveries and pick-ups are completed smoothly.
- Verify: Ensure parts and invoices match for every delivery and pick-up.
- Maintain: Keep an accurate log of deliveries, perform basic truck maintenance, and ensure it is clean and ready for the next day.
- Assist: Help with shipping/receiving tasks and maintain a professional appearance in the parts department.
- Safety First: Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all company policies and safety guidelines.
What You Need:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-3 months of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
- License: Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance standards
Bonus: ASE Certifications and Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification are a plus!
Work Environment:
Expect to be out in the field and occasionally exposed to weather, fumes, and moving mechanical parts, so a flexible, adaptable attitude is essential.
