Hunter Truck is hiring! We are currently looking for an experienced Parts Outside Sales Associate to join our energetic and committed team members at our Allentown, PA location.

SUMMARY :
The Parts Outside Sales Associate is responsible for soliciting parts business from assigned accounts and from prospecting new accounts through personal and phone contacts.

- Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred but not requiredOne to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standardsAutomotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferredMedium / Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferredMust be able to drive across county and state linesESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Visits assigned customersProspects for new customersCommunicate parts orders to counterperson. Advises whether status is stock or emergency based on customer needsChecks with customers to ensure that delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before orderingObtains parts manager’s approval for any special pricingAdvises counterperson on delivery and / or shipping instructionsFollows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properlyCoordinates service sales with service salespeopleTurns in completed call reports, time sheets and expense reportsUpdate customer records to reflect changes to customers’ names, addresses, etc.Attends training seminars as requiredActs as a public relations liaison for the dealershipHandles basic maintenance of the vehicle including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performedAdvises parts manager if vehicle needs major repairs and maintenanceWork in a team environment.Maintain a clean work area.Maintains professional appearanceAdhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environmentAll candidate offers are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
