We are currently looking for a Service Writer / Advisor to join our energetic and committed team at our Pittsburgh, PA location.

Position: Service Writer / Advisor
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Location: 4637 Campbells Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet service customers, sell needed work, write repair orders, and estimate repair costs.
- Communication: Answer customer inquiries via phone, listen to vehicle problems, and provide possible solutions.
- Repair Orders: Open/close repair orders and relay customer complaints to technicians. Provide verbal instruction to technicians when necessary.
- Work Review: Review repairs performed and discuss details with the customer.
- Scheduling: Schedule future appointments when requested and ensure the workload is balanced with technician availability.
- Financial Responsibility: Communicate the customer’s financial responsibility for the repair order and payment expectations.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer complaints with courtesy and professionalism, referring dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Warranty and Claims: Administer warranty and policy adjustments and maintain relationships with manufacturers regarding warranty offerings.
- Documentation: Ensure that all work performed is documented clearly for warranty claims and proper processing.
- Clerical Support: Assist the parts and service departments with clerical duties and help other staff when needed.
- Payments: Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments and maintain repair order files.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure that the work area is neat and clean.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies to contribute to a safe work environment.
