SUMMARY
The primary function of the Warranty Analyst is to close warranty repair orders and file warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner ensuring all services are charged and priced according to established OEM procedures and applicable flat rate pricing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or five years of experience in this position or as service writer preferred. Experience with Microsoft applications is a must.
*Those with experience as an Automotive/Collision Estimator, or with Auto/Commercial Truck Mechanical Experience are encouraged to apply!*
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards.
OEM Certification
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process completed invoices sent from all branches, customers, and fleets for reimbursement from OEM’s.
- Review completed invoices to determine if all charges were applied. Some charges incurred may be, but are not limited to, labor hours, parts, oil, antifreeze, or sublets.
- Become proficient in coding claims according to vendor requirements.
- Enter warranty repair information into the Warranty Management Database System.
- Edit the writing on the repair orders to short legible descriptions fitting the vendor requirements for claim processing.
- Be the liaison between the sending location and the OEM.
- Prepare the part return information for each location and follow up on the progress.
- Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Process the credit statements and send to accounting for posting in a timely manner.
- Provide clerical assistance to all Hunter Truck departments as needed (making phone calls, filing, faxing, etc.).
- Attend and lead trainings/meetings when requested. (Analyst must be OEM certified)
- Travel required, as needed.
- Work with department manager to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and keep work area neat and clean.
- Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
