Position Summary:
A Senior Influencer Strategist develops influencer strategies and campaigns for client brands that grow the brands’ awareness, social media presence and overall engagement with consumers, as well as providing strategic insight to clients/colleagues and mentoring team members.
Qualifications Required:
- B.A. in Marketing, Public Relations or the like
- Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience managing social influencer campaigns for brands and developing influencer content plans and strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprinklr) and social listening/analytics platforms (e.g. Radian6, SimplyMeasured)
- Experience with food clients is a plus
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop social media influencer plans for clients
- Identify and develop influencer programs for brands by targeting and working with the appropriate talent for the client/brand
- Apply strategic/creative thinking skills to gain insight and devise influencer strategy
- Determine project scopes and budgets
Manage and moderate clients’ social media partners
- Establish and maintain a positive interaction with and between the brand and brand influencers and consumers.
- Develop, maintain and update the social influencer brand calendar; develop timelines, distribute/post content, manage deadlines
- Monitor social channels and manage influencer partners to help drive positive results for brands
- Identify real-time engagement opportunities discovered via social listening; act upon opportunities
- Identify negative content/risky content generated by partners; take action to minimize impact to the client or brand
Monitor and analyze program results; compile thorough and accurate reports
- Delegate appropriate responsibilities to the Social Media Coordinators and Influencer Strategists. Supervise junior staff.
- Demonstrate proper writing, editing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, particularly when it comes to client communications (emails, memos, presentations, excel documents), but also with brand partner and agency communications
- Determine the need for support staff assistance for projects/program elements and manage support staff during execution
- Understand the resources and tools needed to achieve the clients’ social media marketing/PR objectives; complete tasks that meet objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with social media contacts and influencers on behalf of the agency and clients
- Demonstrate an understanding of the social media landscape and how to use social channels to drive brand awareness and engagement for clients
- Assist in development of budgets; keep clients’ time & expenses budgets on-track
Serve as a primary client contact:
- Participate in client calls, meetings, presentations and client brainstorms; attend client events
- Accommodate and anticipate client needs; make appropriate recommendations to clients via emails, memos, presentations and phone calls
- Respond to requests for information from clients in a timely and professional manner
- Share relevant articles/trends with clients, along with ways to implement/impact their business
- Participate in agency brainstorm sessions for client programs
- Actively participate in agency committees or departments as designated/asked
- Participate in agency projects and events
- Assist in compilation of awards presentations
- Conduct research for new business and business renewal opportunities
- Develop and foster relationships with suppliers
Ability to:
- Understand the intricacies of established and emerging social channels
- Optimize social strategy and messaging to effectively engage with community members of brands’ channels and those of recommended influencers.
- Craft content appropriate for different audiences and different social channels
- Collaboratively and autonomously plan and develop content to drive engagement on social channels
- Understand the clients’ business and relevant industry trends, and use the information to develop strategic social media influencer plans
- Manage multiple projects for multiple clients in diverse industries
- Travel to client and event locations; meet with clients at their office locations/headquarters
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining a client’s/brand’s social media voice and tone
- Stay current with developments in social media, current trends, technology updates and top news stories in the clients’ and brands’ spaces
- Show integrity, attention to detail and good judgment when working with colleagues and clients
- Deal constructively with client and personnel situations

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $95,000-105,000 annually, and may be eligible for overtime pay. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
