About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a government agency dedicated to serving its community through innovative technology solutions. As a Dynamics 365 & PowerApps Architect, you will lead cutting-edge projects within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, focusing on Power Platform integrations, web portal development, and technical architecture. Your role will ensure scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that meet the agency’s evolving needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical lead for Dynamics 365/Power Platform systems supporting various departments.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
- Design, maintain, develop, and enhance agency applications within the State of Michigan’s System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
- Lead requirement gathering, planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
- Provide expertise in application integration, including Power Platform Portals, APIs, and Azure DevOps.
- Support and maintain a variety of applications, ensuring robust performance and security.
- Troubleshoot issues related to technologies such as ASP.NET, HTML, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (3-5 years).
- Expertise with PowerApps and Power Platform Portals (3-5 years).
- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification (PL-600) – Highly Preferred.
- Salesforce experience (3 years).
- Strong background in Azure DevOps (5 years).
- Proven experience as a technical architect (3-5 years).
- Database architecture experience (1-3 years).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in technologies such as ASP.NET and HTML (5 years).
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of North 52 BRE and Document Core Pack.
- Experience with .NET forms automation.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and case management.
- Proficiency in Power Automate and Power Pages.
- Agile implementation experience and familiarity with Azure DevOps backlogs.
