High performing high school is searching for a key administrator to lead and supervise academic department staff, oversee curriculum development, and advance the school's vision for excellence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in human relations and group dynamics and serve as a catalyst for meaningful change through collaborative efforts. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the school’s goals and objectives are met by both students and teachers, fostering an environment where all stakeholders can thrive.
It is anticipated that the supervisor will lead and oversee the Science Department.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Observing and evaluating teacher performance and instructional planning.
- Collaborating with educators to help them achieve their professional potential.
- Providing leadership and oversight of the Science Department to ensure academic rigor, and student success.
Requirements:
- NJ Supervisor certificate.
- Demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of staff training programs.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science (NJSLS-Science) and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
- Proven experience in the implementation of data-driven decision-making processes, with a focus on evaluating program efficacy and driving continuous improvement.
