What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer 1 position at Hunterdon County Department of Public Works?
Excellent full-time opportunities to learn the skills necessary to maintain and repair roads & bridges, candidates will be expected to learn how to operate equipment to include vehicles requiring a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The County will assist you in learning, practicing and preparing to pass the CDL examination a credential that is essential to the positions within the Department. The positions when filled will perform varied manual and unskilled labor work, including but not limited to clearing underbrush, mowing, trimming and removing trees, road patching, delivering shoveling and preparing surface materials. Participation in annual snow removal work is mandatory.
