Position Summary
Provide secretarial support as needed for the various Nurse Councils, nursing units, the Nursing Office and Staff Development.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Provides clerical support for the department and the document control administrator for all Nursing Policies on Policy Tech.
2. Coordinates New Employee Orientation packets and requests for all affiliating schools of nursing. Ensures that contracts/liability insurance from affiliating schools of nursing are current.
3. Assists and coordinates the NJ State Nurses Association Provider Unit program. Maintains files and printing certificates.
4. Assists with annual competency validation packets and maintains records of completion. Provide final competency exams and records to HR
5. Completes special projects for Nursing Councils and Nursing Units.
6. Responsible for providing all nurses with access to eLock.
7. Responsible for maintaining, data entry and upkeep of Credential Manager for all Department of Nursing staff.
