Key Responsibilities
- Fiscal management of the laboratory department, including budget creation and monitoring
- Personnel management, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action
- Development and implementation of new ideas to improve performance, service, and quality
- Overseeing adherence to federal, state, local, Joint Commission, and College of American Pathology rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
- Minimum three years supervisory/management experience in laboratory science
- ASCP registry in medical technology
