Position Summary
Responsible for pre-op and post-op case preparation including case picking for all surgical procedures. Provides equipment, supplies and furniture for cases as needed as part of room preparation.
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate both urgent and scheduled case preparation
- Place/remove equipment from surgical rooms
- Identify critical items to case needs and escalate as appropriate
- Collaborate with biomedical engineering to facilitate equipment repairs
- Communication with purchasing, OR Director, and vendors to ensure items received for case
- Other duties as assigned
