What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Shop Attendant position at Hunters Ridge Golf Course?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to work as a Shop Assistant for our team. The Shop Assistant will be responsible daily opening and closing of golf course, greeting customers as they enter the pro shop, interact with customers to help them find the product they are looking for and assist customers checking in for their tee time. This is fast-paced environment and an ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing and able to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Open and Close the Pro Shop
- Handle customer enquiries.
- Handle the sales area.
- Handle business payments.
- Handle stocktaking.
- Answer customer phone calls.
- Use a cash register.
- Sell and pour alcoholic beverages.
- Demonstrate merchandise, answer questions, and sell products to customers.
- Assist stockpersons in keeping shelves stocked.
- Recall and explain product features to customers.
- Work on assigned tasks as instructed by a supervisor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
