What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Hunters Run Country Club?
POSITION SUMMARY: This position keeps the physical structure, appearance and associated equipment of the maintenance shop in good working order by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs or assists in preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain and oversee all machines d workspace of the woodshop.
- Design parts and products in CAD and Inventory Management Software’s.
- Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs.
- Create and build cabinet designs for the golf course, Tennis areas and throughout the clubhouse using wood and HDPE materials.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair carpentry to include cabinet repairs, wood and metal door and door hinges, closures, locksets, light furniture repairs, picture and mirror installation, shelving installation, etc.
- Drives a golf cart or company truck/van.
- Maintains a clean and safe workshop, club, and workspace.
- Perform any additional tasks as requested by Facilities management.
Education/Experience:
- CAD and CNC experience required (3 years minimum)
- High school diploma, or GED preferred
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to use all types of tools and equipment efficiently and safely
- Able to adapt to changing work priorities
- Able to communicate and work with a diverse group of people.
Licenses or Certificates
- Valid driver’s license
- Certifications in trades a plus
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus

- Must be able to use step ladders, extension ladders, and 6ft scaffolding.
- The job consists of both inside and outside work. Precautions should be taken for work performed outside for extended periods of time.
