What are the responsibilities and job description for the Duo Spa Lead Treatment Provider position at Hunters Run Country Club?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Duo Therapist will provide services in a professional and courteous manner and deliver exceptional member experience by performing the following duty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be on time for your shift, which is a minimum of 15 minutes up to 30 minutes prior to your first appointment and perform services with the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns
- Guides clients through service offerings and ability to adjust treatments based on any health concerns, allergies, injuries, medications, contraindications, etc.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
- Actively promote the Spa & Salon treatments, services and retail, as well as programs and promotions and/or discounts available.
- Suggests future Spa appointments.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Use aids, such as hot stones, warm towels, and essential oils to promote clients' recovery, relaxation and well-being.
- Provide 50–80-minute massages/facial/waxing/body treatments to clients by appointment.
- Keeps conversation to a minimum as the client is with us to relax.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa & salon policies and procedures.
- Performs daily prep work duties such as re-stocking, refilling and preparing rooms for treatments.
- Displays appropriate teamwork, flexibility and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to industry code of ethics; shall not enter gainful employment with a member or guest (i.e., do not solicit or conduct personal business with a member or guest as a private client).
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years previous experience as a licensed Massage Therapist in a luxury resort setting, hotel or private club
Qualifications
- Current State of Florida Massage Therapist license
- Current State of Florida Board of cosmetology Full Specialist license
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must speak English to understand the clients’ needs
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends
Education / Experience

- Minimum of four (4) years previous experience as a licensed Massage Therapist & Facial Specialist License in a luxury resort setting, hotel or private club.
