What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Counselor position at Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW
LIV UNLTD & Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics is looking for Summer Camp Counselors that are responsible for supporting all aspects of the Children Services Division & Camp. Qualified candidates must be able to interact with children, parents, staff, and local leaders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Camp Counselor your Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Work with a group of campers and provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience
- Cooperate with fellow Counselors and Camp Director
- Greet families and campers upon arrival
- Guide and lead recreational and educational activities throughout the day (such as swimming, crafting, and outdoor games)
- Ability to adapt and keep our campers active
- Be knowledgeable of camper medical or dietary concerns with the ability to provide emergency care
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina to follow strenuous activities like swimming, running, crouching, or carrying children)
