Join Huntey’s Clubhouse as our Summer Program Director, overseeing an engaging, safe, and joy-filled experience for school-age children across our six locations.
The Summer Program Director will lead and support summer programming for school-age children across all Huntey’s Clubhouse locations. Summer care is open for ages 5-12, with most children between 5-8 years old. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality programming, supporting site-level school-age directors, and maintaining a strong focus on child development, behavior support, team member collaboration, and family engagement.

Responsibilities
- Implement and update engaging summer curriculum and activities across all centers.
- Regularly check in at each location to observe programming, offer support, and ensure consistency.
- Ensure programming aligns with licensing requirements, safety guidelines, and our Huntey’s Clubhouse values.
- Collaborate with school-age directors at each center, offering coaching, guidance, and resources.
- Help coordinate team member scheduling and coverage, especially during high-attendance days or field trips.
- Foster a positive, team-first environment focused on joy, development, and shared goals.
- Provide on-site behavior support and help design child-specific behavior plans when needed.
- Monitor environments to ensure safety, compliance, and a welcoming atmosphere for all children.
- Partner with directors and team members to promote social-emotional growth and inclusion.
- Support communication between families and team members during summer thru newsletter.
- Help maintain accurate attendance and field trip records.
- Contribute to building relationships and a sense of community across our locations.
- Coordinate and support summer field trips, special events, and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working with school-age children
- Previous leadership or program oversight experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexible, collaborative, and proactive mindset
- Willingness to travel between centers (gas budget provided)
- Preferred Associate’s or Bachelors degree in a child-related field
