Responsibilities
- Operate manual, automated, and robotic CNC shot peening equipment.
- Read, understand, and perform work to written procedures.
- Perform operations including machine setup and verification, loading, and unloading parts, and part and media inspection.
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor adjustments to equipment.
- Install and inspect masking to ensure proper coverage will be achieved.
- Inspect parts for peen coverage and quality.
- Use approved materials and tooling to clean residual shot from parts.
- Use common machine shop measurement equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
- Understand basic principles of Hunting’s quality system.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior knowledge of shot peening process preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CNC machining, robotic programming and/or operation preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 and/or NADCAP quality system is preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use Windows based PC and learn additional software packages.
- Ability to perform basic shop math .
- Mechanical skills to perform part setups and fixturing.
- Communicates in an effective, clear, and organized manner in oral and written form. Follows expected guidelines regarding client and organizational communication, data sensitivity, and with appropriate regard to complexity.

Work Environment/Conditions
- Monday to Friday Day Shift schedule, 8 or more hours shifts.
- Monday to Thursday Night Shift schedule, 10-hour shifts.
