Production Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Day to day responsibility to the Planning Team
• Reviews and understands production order, transfer order, and 3rd party receiver processing
• Works with Planning Team to support strategic and operations planning
• Keeps an open line of communication with the Planning Team, Production Managers, and Purchasing Representatives as required
• Implements Master Scheduling activity utilizing translated Sales & Distribution forecasts
• Implements Master Production Schedules for finished goods and WIP components
• Maintains WIP & FG inventory levels at targets set by management
• Provides production demand summaries to each manufacturing department
• Responds as needed to email correspondence
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or the equivalent is required
• Two (2) years of manufacturing or relevant industry experience
• Demonstrates good decision-making skills for product manufacturing
• Willing to learn new skills
• Able to multitask and work well under pressure

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills including communication with Managers, Supervisors and departments
• Must be computer literate
• Ability to navigate in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), as well as current Hunting Titan software
• Strong understanding of software systems
• Able to operate a calculator and be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to perform basic accounting tasks and recordkeeping
• Knowledge of the inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, cost and techniques for maximizing the manufacture and distribution of goods
• Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting and selling of service
• Able to work with people in a professional way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this position
• Able to communicate effectively
• Bilingual a plus

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements
• Must be US citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United states (student VISA does not qualify), in accordance with ATF regulations
