What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator 1 position at Hunting Energy Services?
Responsibilities:
- Saw raw material for the production shop.
- Record the purchase order and heat treat numbers on the job pick list.
- Apply the correct color code to the material.
- Clean and maintain the saw and surrounding area.
- Operates industrial lift truck to move material from staging area throughout plant as needed.
- Adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment / Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

General Requirements:
- Empty chip bins when needed.
- Move coolant tanks for for filling.
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
- Organize and inventory stored materials.
- Coordinate, gather, and transport necessary components for production jobs.
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Familiarity with Hunting Titan part numbers, color codes, and the ability to recognize material by inside/outside diameters and lengths quickly.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Must meet Hunting Titan/OSHA fork truck driver license requirements.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance:
- Authorized to work in United States.
- Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.
