The North America Financial Controller is responsible for managing and controlling all financial activities and assuring that all activities across the three US business units are performed in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities:
- Oversight and responsibility for the preparation and reporting requirements of the Stafford, Spring and OOR Business units
- Ensuring financial integrity across the business units and ensuring that financial processes, procedures and the control environment is robust
- Responsible for all financial reporting including month-end closing procedures and review.
- Responsible for the provision of financial analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis of both historic and forecast data
- Responsible for the preparation of budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Primary liaison with external advisors, ensuring good working relationships and compliance with technical standards/IFRS is maintained
- Supporting and implementing projects affecting the US and wider Subsea Technologies segment as required
- Managing, motivating and developing the finance team including structuring the team to achieve optimal performance
- Work with business unit General Managers to review performance and support them in the achievement of segment objectives.
- Assist with review of contracts, proposals for cash flow and other financial terms and conditions.
- Participate in review and management meetings, bids and proposals as needed.
- Preparation of audit schedules, audit interface, preparation of various tax analyses, and research to ensure compliance with state and federal registration and reporting requirements.
- Special projects as assigned by management.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or other related field.
- Preferred: Advanced degree in business, economics, or other related field; CPA
- Must have excellent organizational skills;
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting and/or financial reporting
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and ERP systems
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to respond to common inquiries and/or common inquiries and/or complaints from vendors, regulatory agencies; or members of the management.
- Ability to work with fundamentals of Accounting and General Business Acumen.

- On-Site presence is required.
