Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Driver will operate various types of commercial vehicles including but not limited to box trucks, tractor-trailers, and limousines.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, limousines, dump trucks, and tankers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo transported.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle.
- Assist in yard jockey duties as required.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, tractor-trailers, limousines, or heavy haul vehicles.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and other loading equipment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and vehicle operation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements.

Pay: $12.96 - $13.37 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
