Childcare Worker
Huntingdon County Child & Adult Development Corporation is seeking Childcare Workers for our First Choice Childcare Center.

This is a full time/full year position 30-40 hours per week. We will also consider candidates who desire to work part time, 29 hours or less per week. These positions are in our Huntingdon and Mount Union, PA centers. We are a Keystone Star 4, private, non-profit corporation serving Huntingdon County since 1973. We seek to provide quality services to children and their families residing in Huntingdon County and look for qualified candidates to deliver these services. The successful candidate must
- be able to satisfy the Applicant Background check as required;
- have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations;
- pass a physical exam and have a negative TB test; and
- complete a drug screening.

Our Childcare Workers assist the classroom Group Supervisor or Lead Assistant Group Supervisor in the management, supervision, and operations of a classroom in a HCCADC First Choice Childcare Center. Major job functions include: Classroom Management/Operations and Curriculum Implementation.
Job Type: Part Time/Full-Time/Full-Year
Pay rate: $12.00 per hour

Schedule:
- Our center is open from 5:45 am to 5:45 pm, hours will be scheduled during our hours of operation based upon the needs of the program
- Monday-Friday
Education/Experience:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
*prefer 2 years (2500 hours) of documented experience working with children preferred, but this is not required.
Work Location:
* Huntingdon, PA.
* Work is performed in classroom and playground setting.
