Early Head Start Teacher II
Location: Mount Union
Position Information: 47 Weeks per Year/Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday
Description:
- Works with infants and toddlers in a classroom setting 6 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of young children.
- Day to day feed, diapering, and typical care of children.
- Assists the Teacher I with the preparation of activities and materials according to the lesson plan.
- Assists with the observation of the children and entering information.
Requirements:
Must possess, at a minimum, a Child Development Associate (CDA) and a PA driver's license. The right candidates will be considered with a high school diploma but be willing to pursue a CDA while employed.
*Most hours are daylight; however, occasional evening meetings will occur, and, on rare occasions, a Saturday training or activity may be expected.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.35 per hour
