Capstone Partners is recruiting motivated professionals to work within our buy-side M&A practice and support overall Capstone business development initiatives. We are looking to add a polished, articulate, and hardworking professional to be part of our team.
As part of our buy-side team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with private equity backed companies, corporations and privately held business owners across a wide range of industries, supporting the execution of our client’s targeted acquisition strategies. You will play a meaningful role in creating and maintaining a pipeline of acquisition opportunities for clients, gaining exposure and knowledge of Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies and developing best-in-class outbound calling and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
Identifying and building lists of appropriate prospective acquisition targets
Drafting selling materials and professional correspondence with clients and acquisition targets
Accompanying team with engagement in professional communication with executives at targets
Analyzing companies, industries, historical financial statements and prospective financial information
Building financial models and performing analyses
Assisting with building of financial models and performing analyses
Managing and executing due diligence
Supporting due diligence efforts and data gathering
Updating records in firmwide CRM (DealCloud)
Providing guidance / oversight to potential interns
Earning FINRA registration - Series 79 (Investment Banking Professional)
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Four-year degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or similar
At least one year of professional experience in IB, PE or similar
Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
Basic understanding of financial statements preferred
Located in either Boston or Denver for in office engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
High degree of maturity and integrity
Strong attention to detail
Ability to succeed working independently and collaboratively
Capable of exceling in a fast-paced environment with significant client deliverables
Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)

Compensation Range:
75,000 - 85,000 AnnualThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
