What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operation Supervisor position at Huntington Coach Corporation?
Responsibilities
- Process new hire training paperwork and ensure compliance (19-A) for all new hires and incumbents.
- Assist in coordinating workload with scheduling Trainers.
- Conduct classroom, behind-the-wheel training and physical performance test
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements * Must possess at a minimum a clean NYS CDL B license with P & S endorsements.
- Two years experience driving a school bus, with at least one year in a class B vehicle.
- Must possess at the minimum either a High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, along with strong MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc,).
- Prior training experience a plus.
- 19-A Certified Examiner and School Bus Driver instructor preferred. If not already held, will be required to obtain both certificates within three years

Huntington Coach began its operations in 1927 by transporting workers to local factories during World War II. In 1956, Huntington Coach changed owners and shifted into school transportation, serving Long Island communities with an inaugural fleet of 100 vehicles. Since then, Huntington has grown and expanded to make a name for itself as a leader in the industry, providing services to 12 school districts in Long Island, with over 900 vehicles in its current fleet.
