What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Hospitality Services, FT Nights position at Huntington Hospital?
Expectations :
Supervises and directs all work activities of Hospitality Services staff which may include one or more of the following departments : Patient Transportation , Environmental, and Linen Departments. Performs routine quality control inspections and ensures quality standards are met. Provides on-going training and performance assessment of employees to maintain and improve employee competencies. Creates an atmosphere of open, positive communication throughout the department. This position requires flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION :
High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE / TRAINING :
Minimum Five (5) years experience in the housekeeping or related janitorial and / or Dispatch Call Center experience preferred. Two (2) years experience in supervising a group of twelve to fifteen employees in an acute care or hospital background.
Strong oral and writing skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office or equivalent preferred.
