Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries : Mission Technologies Division is actively searching for a Data and Technology Platform SME involved in providing expert guidance and support to senior stakeholders in data and technology platform uses. The position will work closely with AFRL / IZX leadership, the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Deputy CIO, and the CIO Group to develop tailored recommendations and solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.

This is a fully remote position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include conducting analysis and assessments of current data and technology platform uses, developing and presenting recommendations, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The consultant will also stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies, develop training programs, and provide ad-hoc support.

Builds, designs, implements, and refines cloud architectures.

Provides prescriptive guidance across the network and security.

Leads early scoping definitions and identifies critical dependencies.

Identifies and mitigates technology risks and develops computer and cloud architectures to support processes and digital modernizations.

Collaborates with functional business units to drive business solutions and direction.

Directs and supports developments and documents of framework for integration and implementation of cloud systems.

Understands and determines sizing, capacity planning and requirements for infrastructure, network, and security in the cloud offering.

Minimum Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance is required.
