This opportunity resides with Live, Virtual, Constructive Solutions , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.
HII's System Integration group is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Integrated Training Systems Software Development team! This is a full-time position located in the Virginia Beach, VA area.
As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of the JAAR / DCD, shore and shipboard applications.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor-level degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 7 years of experience in systems engineering
- Working knowledge of Unix
- Previous C# software experience
- Ability to develop a task plan and then execute the plan
- Security certification (or must obtain within 3 months of hire)
- Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)
