Mission Technologies (MT), a division of HII, is seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer to support operations at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
This full-time position is on-site at NRL on the Maryland side of the Potomac near the southern-most part of Washington DC.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, software systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or fifteen (15) years experience and be recognized in the field of pulsed power engineering
- Experience in fielding and carrying out experiments on pulsed power generators, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and in carrying out analysis of the data
- Ability to lead technicians in operation and maintenance of pulsed power systems
- Must be able to participate in team-based research and development
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
