HII's System Integration group is seeking a Software Analyst to join our Integrated Training Systems Software Development team! This is a full-time position located in the Virginia Beach, VA area.
As a Software Analyst, you will play a critical role as part of the Integrated Training Systems in the design, development and deployment of the Advanced Training Domain (ATD), a shipboard combat system trainer.
- Manage the software development lifecycle of an embedded training application for a set of configuration baselines.
- Work with a small software development team and our customer for sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
- Work directly with external stakeholders to establish schedules, coordinate integration and test efforts, and manage deliveries.
- Formulate software solutions via the use of software requirements, consultations with users, and investigation into systems flow, data utilization, and workflow.
- Track problematic areas and issues under investigation to completion.
- Generate documentation in support of software architecture, design, testing, deliveries, schedules, and monthly status.
- Travel to support software installation and test efforts in laboratory and shipboard environments.
