What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading/Writing Tutor - In-PERSON position at Huntington Learning Center - Ashburn?
Hunting Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors for all subject areas:
- Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary
- Writing Skills
- English and Grammar
- College Exam Prep (SAT/ACT) - reading, writing, grammar
- Other humanities and social sciences welcome
Requirements Include:
- A 4-year Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.
- This is an IN-PERSON POSITION. A candidate must be able to work in person. Remote candidates should not apply..
- Certification/License a plus, but not required.
- Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in subject areas are welcome.
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
The Opportunity:

- Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, or a small group of up to 4.
- There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop.
- No parent-teacher conferences.
