High Level ACT/SAT and Math/Science Tutors

Huntington Learning Center-Roseville/Rocklin/Granite Bay is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor to join our team. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success by providing personalized instruction and support. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing for exams, or developing study skills, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals.

We are hiring for:

  • Exam Prep : SAT and ACT math/science

**This is an IN PERSON position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one sessions to students to help with current homework, prep for test/quizzes, create study guides., etc..
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
  • Assess students' individual needs and guide the lesson to address students' specific target goals and scores

  • Year-round flexible hours: Our after-school and summer hours adapt to your changing schedule! Since no preparation is needed beforehand, it's an ideal after-school job.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required. We have many opportunities for professionals from eclectic backgrounds in education or related fields
  • Teaching Certificate preferred, but not required.
  • Teaching/Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 days (8-12 hours) per week and must be flexible. Saturdays we have a high need right now.
  • You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week to start, but will increase if desired.

Schedule:

  • After school and weekends
  • Weekdays: M/T/W/Th/F: 3-8pm
  • Weekends: Sat 9am-4pm and Sun 10am-4pm
  • Choose your own hours
