What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math/Science Tutor - Exam Prep SAT/ACT position at Huntington Learning Center?
Looking for people with a good grasp of Algebra, pre-calculus, chemistry and the skills tested on the ACT and SAT to help prepare college-bound high school students to achieve their best scores. Huntington's proven methods are the basis of the program. We provide exam prep curriculum, materials, and training - you supply the subject-matter expertise and motivation. Subject tutoring students bring in work from their current classes, so there's no planning on your part!
Job Details:
- 4-year degree required - no teaching experience needed.
- Paid training.
- Curriculum, materials, and training provided.
- Work primarily with high school-aged students to master math concepts necessary for classroom and ACT/SAT success.
- Flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend hours are available.
- ACT minimum score requirement for exam prep tutor eligibility (not required for subject tutoring).
