Job description
Huntington Learning Center has been helping students succeed in school for more than 45 years. We are looking for talented professionals who will help students in grades 6-12 achieve self-confidence, motivation, and academic success. Our programs support students with closing the COVID-19 gap, re-engaging in their education, reaching their goal test scores, and moving to the front of the class academically. After a paid training period to learn our methods, you will spend your time teaching and making a difference in childrens lives. We provide the curriculum and develop individualized programs for each student. Tutoring sessions occur in the center. There are no lesson plans to create, no homework to grade. If you are interested in spending your time working directly with students, we'll give you the opportunity to do what you love to do - teach!
The Opportunity
- Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, or in a small group of up to 4.
- Focus on classroom skill development, homework help, subject tutoring, and ACT / SAT test prep.
- Paid training and professional development opportunities.
- All curriculum and materials are provided, and tutoring takes place in the center.
