Huntington Learning Center of Livingston has immediate openings for Full or Part-Time Math Tutors!
As the leader in the tutoring and test prep industry, our success is attributed not only to our highly acclaimed instructional programs, but to the amazing teams of qualified and devoted professionals who commit themselves to helping students achieve success in school each and every day. We are seeking math tutors who are proficient in foundational math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, etc.
Interested in spending your time working directly with students, we'll give you the opportunity to do what you love to do- teach! There are no lesson plans to write or homework assignments to grade.
A Bachelor's degree is required.
We are open 7 days a week.
Our hours include:
Monday through Thursday: 3pm-9:00pm
Fridays: 2pm-8pm
Saturdays: 9am-5pm
Sundays: 10am-6pm
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Take a portion of the Math/Science or English/Reading section of our ACT if applying for the SAT or ACT tutoring positions (no teaching degree required)
-All session done from the center
-At least 10 hours of availability (Saturday or Sunday included)
Pay: $18-20/hr depending on position
Salary : $18 - $20
