What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Math Tutor position at Huntington Learning Center?
- We are currently looking for Math instructors for Middle\High school level students. We help students in all subject areas.
Math: Pre Alg, Alg, Geometry, Alg 2\Trig, Pre Calc, Calc. Tutors can teach some or all of these subjects!

The Huntington Teacher Opportunity:
- Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting
- There are no lesson plans to write or homework assignments to grade!
- Flexible, part-time hours – afternoon, evening, weekend and summer
- Competitive hourly rate and paid training
Compensation: $18-22/hour (commensurate with experience)
Center instructional hours:
- Monday-Friday: 2-8pm
- Saturday-Sunday: 9am-5pm
Minimum hours/week - 10
Maximum hours/week - 30
Huntington Teacher Requirements include:
- 4-year degree required in a related field
- Must be able to easily commute to our location in Yorktown Heights, NY
- All experience levels are welcome to apply – recent grads, current teachers, and retired professionals
