Key Responsibilities
· Provide focused SAT/ACT instruction to small groups or individual students, addressing their specific learning needs.
· Create and implement customized lesson plans and teaching strategies based on each student’s strengths and areas for growth.
· Monitor and report on student progress to promote continuous development and goal achievement.
· Offer regular feedback to students and parents, highlighting progress and areas requiring improvement.
· Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment to enhance student motivation and participation.
· Stay informed about the latest SAT/ACT testing trends, content updates, and effective strategies.
· Conduct lessons in a hybrid format, including in-person and online teaching as required
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Education, Math, English, or a related field preferred.
· Teaching or tutoring experience in SAT/ACT preparation is highly desirable.
· Strong knowledge of SAT/ACT test structure, format, and content.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to motivate and engage high school students in a structured learning environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
