Accounting Manager

General Description

Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and overseeing the Senior Accountant and working with other staff.

Primary Functions/Responsibilities

• Enter required journal entries into Sage 100
• Run various reports to obtain correct information to enter into General Ledger
• Run various reports from HQ Reporting to obtain correct information to enter
• Reconcile payroll processing and enter payroll into General Ledger
• Process recurring entries
• Import IT invoice files to Sage 100 and send electronic invoices to franchisees
• Complete bank reconciliations monthly on all bank accounts
• Run the Operations Report monthly and reconcile to Profit and Loss Statements and distribute to Executives and Senior Management
• Provide Ad Fund required contributions to Accounts Payable monthly
• Set up new General Ledger accounts are required and notify Vice President of Finance of any new accounts set up
• Prepare account analysis
• Assist with Audit preparation
• Special projects as assigned by SR VP of Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Strong Excel Skills
• Sage 100 experience preferred
• Overtime will be required during peak times for the monthly and yearly close and for audits
