Customer Communications Manager

Compensation Range
70,000-140,000
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Responsibilities
- Manage the strategy and implementation of communication plans for regulatory, product, and crisis communications.
- Develop and execute customer campaigns and communications.
- Manage the strategy and implementation of customer communications campaigns and tactics while meeting regulatory, legal, operational, product, projects, and strategic objectives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, compliant, on brand, and reach business objectives.
- Manage the review and approval process of customer communication campaign with creative/brand team, legal and compliance.
- Lead the quality control process including target audience list audits for all comms channels ensuring all variable components are accurate.
- Manage production vendors to ensure communications campaign tactics meet brand and quality guidelines and are delivered according to agreed-upon timeline.
- Direct cross-functional teams to ensure the flawless execution of customer communication campaigns.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Previous experience working in financial services
- 5 years demonstrated experience working in a communications role with an emphasis on strategic planning, writing, executing and managing customer communications.
- Project management experience required.
- Experience leading integrated campaigns and working with creative agencies (in-house or external).
- Excellent written communication skills with a solid understanding of digital channels, communication design and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure messaging is relevant, concise, and engaging.
- Superb written communication skills and must be detail-oriented, with a financial orientation.
- Excel working under pressure in time of quickly changing priorities and in times of uncertainty.
