This role involves working closely with senior leadership across the enterprise to enhance our analytics organization, infrastructure, and capabilities to achieve organizational objectives. This leader should be equally comfortable with and conversant in technical subjects and business administration.
This leader reports to the Enterprise Data and Analytics Director within the Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics group and the Finance and Strategy organization.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and communicate the Huntington analytics strategy
- Create analytics business cases for revenue generation, risk reduction, and expense management and maintain enterprise-level analytics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate with Business Segment Data and Analytics Strategy Directors
- Maintain an enterprise-wide view of analytics groups
- Transfer and translate analytics methods, tactics, and technologies to business line partners
- Support recruiting and onboarding for analytics roles
- Develop executive and board-level presentations on progress in strategic initiatives
- Maintain a summary of the Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics book of work and a long-term summary of EDSA financial impact.
- Serve as a lead on internal strategic consulting engagements, providing both day-to-day project management, and thought leadership to shape strategies across the analytics enterprise
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and internal assessments to inform strategic decisions.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide strategic guidance and leadership to foster alignment and synergy across departments.
- Maintain Huntington’s strong risk culture through early identification, communication, and proactive management and mitigation of financial risks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in a STEM field or Business management discipline
- 12 years of business experience in analytics, strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field.
- 3 years of leadership experience managing high performing teams.
- Financial Services background with experiences in marketing, logistics, risk assessment, and regulatory oversight
- Ability to foster an inclusive and innovative working environment within the analytics team and across businesses
- Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, partnership & presentation/communication skills
- Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value added, data driven solutions
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to teach others to use analytics tools and methods and to develop best practices.
- Progressive experience in strategic management consulting, project management, or agile management
- Proven creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent influencing and communication (both oral and written) skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to multiples audiences in business terms.
- Management experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills to lead teams within a culture of trust and inclusivity.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects, and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed.
