CLASS TITLE: Parking Lot Attendant
DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT:
Perform a number of tasks relating to parking lot; does related work as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is repetitive work requiring efficient performance of parking lot duties. Duties may include handling all sales; Completion of all necessary reports; Keeping parking lot building and area clean at all times; Requesting and replenishing supplies; Conducting parking lot check and car count as needed; Monitoring ticket spitters and gates as well as does minor repairs and time changes; Assisting passengers to the terminal from the parking lot areas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of functions, procedures, and policies of department, ability to carry-out established
regulations; capability of a high degree of accuracy in making charges and change; tact and
courtesy; dependability; integrity; good physical condition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferably parking attendant experience, completion of a standard high school course; or any
equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge and
abilities.
SCHEDULE: Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
