Huntington University has an opening for an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor in our Arizona office.
This position involves representing Huntington University Arizona in a professional manner throughout the process of recruiting, admitting, and matriculating prospective students. This position directly reports to the Dean of Huntington University Arizona. Support is also provided by the Senior Admissions Coordinator in Arizona and the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Strategy on the home campus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian college dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ
- Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
- Positive interpersonal skills and a team player
- Commitment to continuous process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Committed to travel throughout recruiting territory and available for some evening and weekend work
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in one-on-one and group settings
- Strong computer skills (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
- Self-motivation and initiative, creativity, attention to detail, time management, organization, and leadership skills
- Must be able to work in a highly interactive and team-oriented environment
