Job Summary:
Assists Lead Installer to install HVAC units for customers. Cleans jobsite and loads truck for jobs daily. Assists in staging and completing jobs as directed.
Schedule: M-F 730am-4:30pm (overtime as needed/available)
Starting Wage: $20.00-$23.00 p/h (depending on experience, qualifications)
Duties/Responsibilities:
·Assists Lead Installer in all HVAC system installations; maintains efficiency and accuracy
·Knows how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
·Assists in properly staging jobs and adheres to quality checklist
·Shows as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
·Works with customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
·Supports Lead Installer to maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
·Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats
·Assists in completing accurate and timely paperwork
·Regular, prompt, on-site attendance essential for physically installing equipment
·Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
·Learn local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications
·Continued education and training to obtain NATE certification
·Highly organized with exceptional follow through abilities
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
·High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
·At least two years related experience required.
·Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
·Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting, and carrying.
·Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic chemicals, indoors and outdoors
·Exposure to extreme temperatures
·Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
