What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Operations Team Lead (Part Time) position at Huntsville City FC?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role would be focused on the operations side of gameday for the official team store. This role will involve coaching team members on key areas such as customer service, operating the point of sale system, inventory restocking, and shrink reduction. Additionally, the Team Lead will assist with coordinating the setup and teardown of the official team store on gamedays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive results through effective communication and a demonstrated ability to work as member of a winning team
- Must be available to work a part-time schedule that will include days, nights, and weekends
- Greet fans and ask questions to help make their shopping experience an enjoyable one
- Make recommendations based on observations and conversions with fans
- Help execute a brand connection by ensuring fans enjoy a top-notch shopping experience
- Maintain sales floor and/or stockroom standards with an eye to detail
- Process sales transactions via Point of Sale System (POS)
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service to ensure Fanatics and the team are always positively represented
- Have a working knowledge of U.S. and international soccer, team promotions and current ticket programs (training will be provided)
- Facilitate activation at events, while providing superb customer service and displaying excitement about the organization
- Available to work all Huntsville City FC match days
- Must commit to the Huntsville City Street Team schedule which includes but is not limited to at least two (2) appearances per month
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 18 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work extended hours on game days and during events
- Possess a fun, professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to build product knowledge of Team/League inventory
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in fast paced environments, servicing a diverse fan base
- Ability to maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness
- Experience in retail or other consumer-facing industries preferred
- Must have transportation, a good driving record and valid driver’s license
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, reach, bend and move about the facility as needed
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Game Day scheduling may have exposure to various weather elements (rainy, windy, cold, high temperatures)
